Commissioner Dr. Katrina V. Touchstone was born and raised in Carver Ranches, a subdivision of the City of West Park.  She has deeply rooted community ties; as far back as 1951. She is the youngest daughter to Charles and Bertha Touchstone.

Dr. Touchstone holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Florida A&M University and has been a clinical pharmacist for over 15 years. She is a fierce community advocate, and advocates to put the needs of the community first!

Dr. Touchstone is a mother of three. After graduating from college in 2005, she was eager to move back to her hometown of Carver Ranches (home is where the heart is). She is an author, visionary, entrepreneur, and has an earnest love for her community!

She believes in true transparency and co-created a community led social media group, "West Park Word of Mouth", to provide current information, foster awareness, and reinvigorate a sense of community and community engagement.  

Her overall goal is to restore and build a sense of community and togetherness, bringing forth community initiatives geared towards improving individuals’ quality of life and supporting local businesses. She believes in diversity and inclusivity and her life mantra is "to whom much is given much is required."
